1. The Scenic Route by hollycomb
Honestly, one of my biggest regrets is not reading this sooner! it might've been how it was untagged, but you have to understand this was posted in 2012, I highly doubt people are tagging their shit around that time... This fic is super good, there's a side plot of bunny which is really sweet, you end up rooting for Kyle and Stan alot! this fic is an absolute classic and you can see why I have two paragraphs on it, the fic is a rollercoaster with twists and turns
man, if I were to tag this I'd say it's "It gets worse before it gets better." when you think one problem is done 5 more suddenly appear! it's a very raw story and you won't know south park style peak until you read this! in the end they do have like insane buttsex but its not relevant to the plot so you can skip over it like I did:)
2. What's Your Favorite Shade? by damienwayne
It's a really beautiful work, it really is very funny to read and laugh at once you reach the falling action, all that drama just for it to be so simple? how crazy! a ton of misunderstandings happen in this fic, the relationship between stan x kyle is very raw and beautiful, it is a MUST read from 2016.
3. Falling Into the Deep End by Meeplep
Really cute and hilarious dialogue between Kyle, Kenny, Bebe and Stan! there's also some bendy for my fellow bendy hoes out there, though I'd argue their love story is wayyy more straightforward than whatever Stan and Kyle got going on in this fic...
This is the first Stan x Kyle fic that I ever read, I still think about this fic alot, even if its been 3 years since I first read it, it's really funny at times, It also has a sequel fic (with only 2 chapters...), despite the fact 95% of the fic takes place online you can still feel tension, love and happiness! it's a really good read. Stan is a bit... odd at the start, but he grows trust.
5. A Mile in Their Shoes by tired_transmasc
Okay, look, I didn't read this fully myself but let me tell you it has been quite the read so far(IN A GOOD WAY.) I'll write more about this rec when I'm done but just trust me!!! it's good I swear.

I've been loving Kyle x Stan for awhile now, at first I picked up the show in 2020 but dropped it due to my ex friend who heavily disliked south park in a whole, 2 years later in 2022 I got back into it and those two were the first who've caught my eye.
No matter what I just cannot imagine a world where the two aren't in love, and that's not to mention platonic love! i ship all forms of Style, I've always wanted a friendship like those two and them being the first good duo I see after being in an abusive friendship made me cling to them, that friendship, that joy...
I genuinely enjoy consuming content of them, my favorite fanfics of them can be viewed on the side if anyone is interested, as well as the songs I'd say are so them core...ah, I'd love to have a Kyle to my Stan one day!
the love I have for them is so immense that I've started including them into my school projects, is that okay to say? whatever! now my teachers know about my Stan x Kyle Yaoi... ah... Young love...

Stan x Kyle is mslash ship between Stan Marsh and Kyle Broflovski, they are one of the most popular South Park ships as I write this, tons of people love them for their dynamic and their charachters, they are especially shipped from their episodes: "Super Best Friends" "Cartmanland" and "Cupid Ye" (these are only examples, and quite frankly just my personal favorites!)
No matter how much I'd love to sit here listing Stan and Kyle episodes I think this video does it more justice than I do The video, Hm... if there ever comes a day I write fanfic I'll place it here.
